9 post limit?

Yesterday I received a message in the forums stating that I had reached my 9 posts daily limit? Why is there a limit and why is it so low?

Here is why a quote from the Administrator:

I was simply tired of the mess during the last few days of every month, when newbies would spam 30 posts and submit for the bonus all in one day.  Now you can't do much damage until you've been posting long enough to know better.

And

The limit is lifted automatically after a certain number of qualifying posts.  It's not lifted when you change out of being a newbie, it takes a bit more than that.

You may not need to do more than 270 post a month just yet! And after a while one or two a day may be plenty for you! Good Luck!

Unfortunately, some newbies have not yet learned this even after the limit was lifted and continue to spam the forums just to collect the bonus, (some have even admitted this in spammed posts).  Others have learned some 'forum decorum' and still manage to contribute without flooding the venue.

Yes, it does make sense. Considering you only need 30 for the $3, and you can do 9 posts a day, it's not so bad.

  just learn something, i did not know you only get to do 9 post a day, it is hard for me to get in 2 day
