WHY is it in some family's,  family treat one another like crap, yet they will treat a total stranger sooooo much better?........I can not for the life of me figure that out

Good question,  it's like, I don't know........ LOL! People treat their family members however they want because at the end of the day their family will always love and forgive them. Where as, if someones meeting a stranger, they want to give them a good first impression and if they screw up they may not get another chance to make things right.  Hope that makes sense!?

Matthew 10: 27-39 ought to help clear it up for you  . Whenever I give everything back to God. I feel better about my family manipulating and deceiving and verbally and physically abusing me in times past. This passage reminds me that those whom go out to hurt God's believers will end up hurting themselves. Hence therefore God gives me back a better family member after He's humbled them out for their sins against me and against others.

I think it is that family cares a little deeper than a stranger. I think when something goes wrong with a family member, it hurts more deeply, and Yes, sometimes people that care for a family member tries a little too hard and sometimes gets cruel!!

Generally speaking we tend to put our best foot forward and hide who we are to strangers. We act like totally different persons to people we meet for the first time or just getting to know. (For example when dating the opposite sex). Our family members already know our faults and weaknesses.

I cannot relate as I'm pretty close to most of my family, but I can understand people not getting along, especially with in-laws. Everyone has different taste and tolerances and some people are just rotten too.

Frustrating isn't it. I guess its because family members believe that no matter how they treat you, in the end you are always going to be there.
