I did it for the first time a couple of months ago.  I donated 28 inches total.  But I had not had my hair cut in 24 years.

I've donated a few times. In the last 7 years.  Usually between 12-14 inches.

I donated back when I was a teen. But then my hair was thick to the point that the bottom of my french braids were at least an inch big and my hair grew very  fast so cutting hair that reached my butt to just below the shoulders when summer started was nothing. Now my hair has thinned consierably so I don't really get it cut. I do however have the back length down to my waist and that is with all of the natural ringlets. Take a flat iron to it and it is even longer.

I don't myself, but my daughter has several times.  She has gorgeous hair, so I know some kids are getting great wigs.

I wasn't able to donate my hair when I cut it because my hair had been dyed.  They will not take dyed hair.

I keep my hair real short now adays, but when i was younger and up in the state of Washington they had a drive on to get your hair cut for locks of love, I wasn't real long but long enough for menor boys wigs, But when i had it cut i had it shaved off so they would have it all. Hubby liked it but my son and brother were a little upset. There were over 5000 people that had it done, even my aunt who was 81 and had always wanted to do it had it done and shaved it too. Her hair was pur white and had never had dye on it. What a blast. This was in July and hot. Boy was it cool and easy to keep.

I have! :D I usually feel happy and liberated after a haircut. This year I had my hair cut at the barber salon and the lady who cut my hair suggested it be donated to Locks of Love to help children with cancer. It was the first time I ever heard about it so I happily agreed.  :)

I wish I had enough hair to donate  :'(  It has thinned with age and is fine.  SO I keep it short!

I haven't ever donated my hair.  I'm to scared to get it cut off.  Maybe someday.

I have donated to them in the past and will most likely have my daughter do the same whenever she decides to chop her hair.

No, I have not donated any of my hair because it has been treated. Thanks all donors for helping so many victims of cancer!
