PC unless you're doing some kind of video/photo/audio activities.

The PC has more problems for obvious reasons.  When you have millions or billions of more people using PC than Mac, the PC is going to be a bigger target for viruses, the programming of the OS is simply more difficult, it requires more features seeing as how it's needed for use worldwide, etc.

People who aren't all too familiar with computers past the very basics would probably benefit more from a Mac, for the simple reason that you don't have to really care about malicious attacks, viruses, etc.

PC.  I always considered myself smart with computers but when it comes to a Mac I stumble all over the place trying to get the simplest things done.  :- lol.

My system doesn't crash daily. It takes some getting used to just like anything to try for the first time, but well worth it. ;D.. There has been no blue screen of death And Now I will never be a pc owner again  ;D :notworthy:

I've had my current PC for 5 years and it hasn't crashed once.

It's not the computer, it's the person and whether they know how to care for it or not.

Then there are those that do take very well care of there pc and it still crashes and you still have the blue screen of death Im sure even bill gates doesn't take care of his computer if this happens:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RgriTO8UHvs&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RgriTO8UHvs&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

PC.

i can't live without copy and paste.  :P

LOL... what? I have a Mac & I copy & paste all the time.

I've had my current PC for 5 years and it hasn't crashed once.

It's not the computer, it's the person and whether they know how to care for it or not.

Gotta disagree with you there... I have had a PC that has never crashed on me since 2002 when I got it, & I have had a Mac that never crashed on me since I bought it in 2005. That just means I got good machines. My boss bought a Mac & had to return it because it had problems out the box. My brother bought a PC & has had nothing but problems with it from day 1. Much like cars, computers can have "lemons."

I much prefer my Mac to a PC. I prefer the interface & the machine in general. And I LOVE not having to worry about all the viruses & problems that PCs have. I can't really think of anything I have used a PC for that has been "better" than on a Mac, or that I have preferred.
