I prefer Windows because there is more software and better compatibility.  Mac has great hardware but you always have to search for fixes since most of the world runs on Microsoft.  Give me a Mac that runs Windows and I have the perfect computer.

I have PC but I understand that Apple is marvelous, really easy to use.  I just don't have the money for Apple.

I always used a PC because I'm used to it. I never tried a MAC but I hear it's easier and you get little or no viruses.

I personally use a PC which is a purely economical decision.  I am looking forward to Windows 8, though.

I use an Apple laptop too, and a Windows desktop. Apple makes everything so efficient!

Why would you want to mess up a perfectly good Mac with Windows?  Seriously, you can run Windows software on most Macs with third party software.  Windows is a horrible operating system.  I didn't think that until  I was gifted with a Mac laptop.  Now that I have a mini Mac desktop, I am getting ready to pitch my Windows machines.

I agree.  My first computer was a PC and I had a hard time with it, even though I was working in aerospace at the time, surrounded by technicians, programmers and engineers that were teaching me.  Then I got gifted a MAC and now I too am about to say good bye to my old PC and stay with MAC.  It's so much more user friendly.  I have no trouble finding the software I need and find it more compatible with everything than the PC ever was.  Perhaps the above poster is trying to force a square peg into a round hole.  :dontknow:

I'm definitely a MAC fan.

Apple products are fail.  They've always been fail. People just see product placements on TV shows with actors using Apple products and think they must be great.  =-P  That being said, PC companies such as HP, Lenovo, and Acer are also terrible. I custom built my PC to make sure I can do the things I want with higher quality materials than a manufacturer would put inside the one they're selling.
