College Application Fee Waiver
« on: October 14, 2012, 05:21:27 pm »

So in Cali.. Highschool seniors can apply for the waiver.

Well, my family's on the upper part of the low income..

Today when i applied for that... It got denied.. And you can only apply once..

That waiver allows you to apply to 4 State Universities, and 4 UCs... for free..

Well here i sit.. And have to limit myself.. I need some safe schools and the ones i really want to go to..

I can't apply to 8 anymore..

But what's the point if i can't apply where i want to because I know it's too competitive and i might not get in?

I still want to apply because i really want to go there.
But now i can't even try to get in..

i can probably only apply to 2 schools at max..

Because those applications are $55 each.... And i have no job to pay that.

In Texas if your income is low the high school gives you one to take the SAT and ACT plus you can use it to apply for applications

Application fees are ridiculous. Mine were only $30 per school but I was lucky enough to be working in high school to have that extra money

No we don't.

But if we don't qualify for the fee waiver, we have to pay to apply for college and stuff.
