i do not have any i got plenty of scars and for me i would love to get rid of the scars but they are there can't do nothing about them but my mom always told me if god wanted anything extra on your body he would of put them or it there

There are a ton of ways to look at this.  If god wanted me to be smart then I would have been born that way, so there is no need to go to school much less further my education.  No disrespect intended, that was just to show a different way of looking at it.  I have two tattoos but they are covered and people never see them unless I want them to see them.

I do have tattoos and I never intend on getting any.  I do not think it is healthy for one thing.  The reason is that if you develop any kind of skin cancer or other skin diseases
you may have a hard time noticing it.  Plus I cannot believe that it cannot lead to something later on.  But I always say, whatever you are happy doing is fine with me, just do not convince me to the same thing.

I don't have any tattoos but 2 of our 3 daughters have them.  They knew we wouldn't approve so they waited until they were grown to get them at least.  One of the daughters has a couple of pretty, tasteful tattoos but the other daughter has big ugly ones (in my opinion).  They can't show at work so she has to be careful what she wears.  She works in a profession where most of her patients are older ppl and don't approve of tattoos.  Its their business if they want tattoos but I had an uncle who went nuts getting tattoos and he died from them.  I would have thought that would have been a deterent for the girls but it was not.

I LOVE tattoos!  I've got three and plan on getting more.  To me, tattoos are body art.  I've got a phenomenal tattoo artist and recommend him every chance I get.  They aren't to be taken lightly.  Your tattoo will remain with you for the rest of your life so choose your body art wisely.  Find yourself a great artist FIRST or your long-awaited piece could turn in to a disaster.  Oh, and don't EVER get anyone's name tattooed on your body unless it's your name, your kid's name or in memory of someone.

I have 3 tattoos and am considering a 4th. Mine are all discreet in that they can easily be covered due to location and like it that way for girls, honestly. Makes them more sexy.

I don't have any tattoos personally but I give people credit for getting them.  Branding yourself with something takes dedication.  Obviously they aren't permanent entirely, but even keeping something on your skin for a while is amazing.

As far as the scars you mentioned though, I've been able to fade if not completely get rid of scars by putting vitamin E on them.  So, even those aren't permanent.

i do not have any tattoos but would not say i will never have any --nothing big and gaudy but maybe something small on my ankle or foot --in my opinion some people take it to far but that is just my opinion

No tattoos and no plans for any tattoos. All I have to do is see my dad, he never wears short sleeve shirts. He wears long sleeve shirts no matter how hot it gets. His arms are all tattoos, he got in Asia back in the day.

I don't have any tattoos, nor do I plan to. While I'm not the most gorgeous human being on the earth, I like the way I am enough to avoid the needles. I would hate to get one and later regret it or end up at a place where the people don't practice good sanitation.

I have a little shooting star on the inside of my left wrist. Took me a year to decide on it. It's small enough to where no one would really notice it. So it shouldn't interfere with a job or anything like that. I think a lot of people don't take that into consideration when they get tattoos, how it may affect their careers. A friend of my dad's has sleeves and he has to wear long shirts all of them time because of his job.
