Post referral links or promotional information on Facebook

I was planning on posting a referral link on Facebook.  However, I tried to post the link into my profile, but the image did not come out.  All I got was a incomplete
hyperlink.  Do I need to sign up for an AD Account to do this? Also, I do not want to violate an terms and so is it okay to post a referral link on Facebook?

I would appreciate any help.

I hope someone who has shared on Facebook before will come and enlighten us on the specific do's and don'ts.  I DO know that if it hadn't been for my enroller posting a notice on Facebook, I might not have found my way here.  I used her link and have been here ever since!

If you're trying to post your banner on Facebook, I don't think it will work.  You need to post the referral link (which is yours) that can be found at the bottom of your Account page.  I've used it a few times and it posts just fine on Facebook.

Facebook doesn't allow you to use html which is what the banner uses. You can just post your unique refferal url without any problems

 All you can do on Facebook is post your referral link. The only way to put your banner on their is to save the pic of it in your photos on your pc then upload it to facebook. note this way the banner will say the same untill you save and upload an updated banner.

when i wd advertise on fb, i wd just write a short description about fc, and tell people to email me if they are interested, then i wd send them the website info...

I also tried it and it didn't work. I thought it was just an issue with Facebook.
