2 things I do to get ready for fall are putting on the storm windows and doors and getting out my winter clothes, putting summer clothes away.
Both of these things I hate to do because it means that it will be getting colder soon.
Just hoping I can put it off a little longer this year but I heard the forcast for the next week and that doesn't sound that promising! :peace:

One of the things I do is pay my Mom a visit.  I store all our seasonal things in her basement so I make a trip over to visit and go through rubbermaids.  Sadly I don't think if I had to go there for these things I wouldn't go over much at all.

I don't do much of anything really. I didn't know fall had to be prepared for. I guess I expect some rain and I prepare for that but that's about it. I use fall as time to prepare for winter really.

I LOVE TO DECORATE FOR ALL THE DIFFERENT SEASONS  OK, maybe it is because I live in an area that doesn't change seasons very drastically.   It is nice to get out of the 100's and down to 70's and 80's.   When I lived in Colorado I would get so depressed in the fall that the 9 months of winter was coming!  LOL

I clear out my garden and get it ready for spring. We cut and stack a lot of wood for the fireplace , am lucky i have storeage space in the house for fall and winter clothes, so don't have to move them around. Still have to finish up some canning. And amongst all that need to finish up crafts for a show next month. AND DO MY FUSION CASH.
