180 days clarification
« on: September 26, 2012, 09:52:31 am »
I need some clarification about the maximum 180 days for your credits to be valid before you cash out. I started with fc back on the 26th of July. I'm waiting for the end of this month(Sept.) to make my first and official cash out. However, I am looking at my account and it states " Offers credited to you account: showing the last 240 days, you can also view all." 240 days??? Does this mean I should have cashed out a while back? How can it be 240 days I just started in July? Please someone help explain and clarify and tell me that I am not losing my mind!!!

It's okay, don't panic, I'm pretty sure it says 'showing last 240 days' for everyone. I believe it's nothing more than a way to see everything you've done, not that you've had 240 days of activity but you could see every offer you've completed up to 240 days after registering. I'm pretty sure I haven't had 240 days, either, but it shows the same for me.

When it comes to cashing out, you can do that whenever you're comfortable with it as long as you've reached $25 first, $15 of that from offers. If you wait a few months, that's not bad. The 180 day thing just lets you know you will lose any money made from offers if you don't cash out before then.

I'm new at this too, but I think that means that the history goes back as far as 240 days.  So if you started January 1st and it's now say October 1st, you would be able to go back and review your history for the past 8 months (ie) February.
So if you started January 1st, on September 29th you could back as far as Feb 1st and check your history.  Hope this is not going to confuse you more.  Since you started in July you will have all your history back to the day you started. So on March 14th, 2013, you will be able to access your history for the past 240 days back to the day you started.

Just cashout as soon as you have the eligible $s .... you don't have to wait for anything else. The 180 days are when your credits start expiring. So, if you earned something on say, july 1 ... it will expire 180 days from then ... december 26th, i think. So you bettr cashout before that or you will stat losing some earnings  :dontknow:

??? yes this can be confusing and I'm not sure if I would be telling you right excep that I make sure my oldest uncashed offer is less than 180 days old.  I try not to push it but I missed payout last month and so I am going for a larger payout this month but it still puts all my offers at less than 180 days old.  Oh well hope all these answers are of some help - Best of luck

When your offers/bonuses reach 150 days (and you haven't cashed out yet) you will see a red message above the any credit that is 150 days or older.  It will say that you have X number of days until the credit expires.

When you do cash out, all of your credits will have a "pending cashout" tag (or something similar) that will stay there until you receive your cash out amount the 20th of the month following the month of your request.  As long as your cash out is not denied (ie offers get reversed or you didn't provide the necessary information to make payment), none of the items that are pending cashout will be subject to the 180 rule.

If your cash out is denied, however, then all items will be put back in your account and they will then be subject to the 180 day rule.

When you receive your cash out, all of the items related to your cash out amount will have a tag:  "Cashed out".

I try to cash out every 3-4 months so the 180 day rule is not a problem for me  anymore; but it was early on in my FC career.

You're fine! No worries!

FC shows every offer completion for the past 240 days as the standard, so it's listed that way whether you've been on the site 875 days or 2 days.

As for 180 days, that's how long you have to complete ONE $25 cashout before the credits you have begin to expire. If you use the site regularly, you'll never have a problem with this!
