Nice! I really like Louisa May Alcott BTW. Little Women has been one of my favorite books since I was in the 6th grade.  

Mine, too!  And my daughter's!  Did you ever read Little Men?  I did once, long ago, and it was okay.  But there's just something about Little Women that stays with us and teaches us valuable lessons regarding thriftiness, dedication to family, being content with what we have, helping others who are even worse off than we are, supporting and encouraging each other, keeping the faith and hope of someone returning home from the war (even today), and strength/comfort/love from our Heavenly Father.  And so much more - I could go on and on, lol. 

I have read Little Men! And I agree there is just something about Little Women that stays with me. Very Valuable lessons indeed. I have tried to get my son to at least read Little Men...but to no avail. LOL He did watch the movie Little Women with me once when he was in grade school though.   

My older son wanted nothing to do with Little Men, lol.  My younger son is an avid reader - he read it and enjoyed it.  Speaking of the movie, when my daughter was in elementary school, we let her have a slumber birthday party one weekend, and the girls all wanted to go see the movie Little Women, so I took them.  It was great and they loved it.

Good one!  Not to mention, afterwards, the slow and steady progress until he finally does reach his goal!!  He perseveres and never gives up.
