Why?  Such magical intercessory rituals have no valid evidence of being effective, (beyond any loosely-attributed placebo-effect of pseudo-'comfort').

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Please pray for my mother in law. She is 73 years old and has heart disease, kidney failure, and diabetes. She was doing really good for awhile. Her kidney function was up and her heart was doing a lot better. (she had a leak in one of her valves) Her heart doctor was practically planning her funeral. Now she had an accident while driving her car and ended up running over her foot. She has been bed ridden for the past week and I have been taking care of her for the most part. Please pray for her quick recovery. Thank you and God bless.

I pray for our government & its leaders, also for the those who always write negative comments when "prayer, God, or religion" is posted.

I agree. These people need our prayers most of all. They feel the need to post in these threads and say only negative things. If these people saw things the way we do for just one day, they would feel so much happier. They would see what a difference they could make not only in their own lives, but in the lives of everyone around them.

Since those subjects are incessantly, (and initially), posted in a negatively proselytizing manner, why should commentary not follow the 'golden rule'.  Such "prayers" directed against those who oppose superstitious religious rituals, (such as magical intercessory rituals), have no discernable effect on either believers or non-believers.

Amen.  Thank God we do have something to have joy, without God we would have nothing.  It is great that people are still willing to take a stand Great Post

We'd have exactly what we have now without 'g-d'.  I'm willing to take a stand against the hordes of those blinded by faith and self-deluded by religious beliefs.

Vote; it's more effective than "praying", (even for a theocracy).

You say vote but there is not good person to vote for.  Either one is going to ruin or lives and have us killed when we turn 70.  No thanks.  I will pray for another leader rather than vote for a lier or thief.

Such magical intercessory rituals as "prayer" will not put a candidate into executive office.

Doubtless you are unable to comprehend that your posts consist of trolling due to your inherent hypocrisy.
