I saw the printed word "anointed".
When I see that word, I often think it sholuld be spelled with 2 "n's".
Can you think of any?

I always get my "i" and "e" backwards. Like "received" and other words like that.

I can't think of any words because I am a walking dictionary any word you throw at me I get it right because I am always spelling to my kids to teach them to know how to spell and use their brains in ways that people normally don't...

I think definite is often misspelled...  And as I write this I almost just misspelled "misspelled" - was going to only use one "s", and the spell check tells me that wrong.  Funny.

Government...............people are always forgetting the n.  Too, To, Two,      there, they're, their,     your, you're     license  (I see this all the time with the s and c reversed).   kindergarten spelled kindergarden

Bad spelling is definitely one of my pet peeves.  I just cringe when I see things misspelled or used in the wrong context, like your and you're.

  Chuck Norris does not use spell check. If he happens to misspell a word, Oxford will simply change the actual spelling of it.     LOL

"Definite" is the one that gets me sometimes. I tend to leave out the second "i".

I feel like they are teaching to the test in my great state of Texas. My son was in middle school in the band, the high school band students sent letters to the middle school to get them to join their band. That writing was so poor and misspelled words, they could not even write in cursive the hand writing was like they were in elementary school. I think that is where the hand writing stop. My son don't even know how to write in cursive letters. He is in the 9th grade now, he told me the teachers do not worry about that now. I remember us girls used to practice to get our own style of writing in cursive, and now I've noticed that my 19-year-old daughter do not write in cursive either. The school system is now like it used to be. I have seen children trying to read and cannot pronounce words, but sure can pronounce the curse words pretty well.

Yeah I seem to do that a lot when I am tired.
