They like tunnels and houses to hide in, this will help to keep your guinea pig stimulated and happy. They can also use cage accessories for when they are having safe free range time. This is even more important if their cage is small and your unable to fit many accessories in the cage without it seeming like an obstacle course. Please don't overcrowd a cage as guinea pigs do need to be able to run freely. Of course, one of the most essential ingredients to help keep your guinea pig happy and occupied is for them to have another guinea pig as a cage mate. But look out because you don't want to run into having a bunch of babies!

You know one of our guinea pigs LOVED kleenex boxes. We'd open it up more so he could crawl inside and that's where he would sleep. Although he did like to chew on it. Speaking of chewing they make these little sticks (I can't remember the name) that they like to just sit and chew on.

Yes! It's so simple but so effective-- empty tissue boxes work miracles. Guinea pigs aren't really the "playing" type, but they love to build things up and tear them down!

Our oldest daughter had a guinea pig for a short period of time but I don't remember what he played with.  I do however remember the day the thing got out of his cage and we could not find him till the next day. lol

They like the running wheels, tunnels and tubes. The simple toy the better :D

I had a pet mouse and my mom always gave him empty toilet paper rolls. He loved them! he would crawl through them and chew on them.

I don't recall my guinea pigs ever really playing with toys.  They had chew sticks to grind down their teeth, but I don't really remember toys.
