You find someone to talk to if you can. Like a school counselor, if you can.

I'd say find someone who you trust with your life, if anyone, and express what's going through your mind. You could go see a counsulor, talk to a family member, or even write in a journal. I would write a lot about my feelings and thoughts when I was in middle school, and it helped a lot. That also helped me become a better writer. But yeah, just find someone you trust, and tell them you got something to talk about that's serious.  :)

I place myself in the moment.  I say "Right now- right here- in the place I sit, I am safe and I am okay."  Generally, anxiety comes from thinking about the past or speculating about the future.  It very rarely comes from something happening at that exact moment.  When you begin to feel too worried or anxious, just stop and realize that in this moment, you are okay.  You can handle anything that comes in each moment.

I, unfortunately was recently diagnosed with a chronic pain condition and I have good days and bad days.  I think I've convinced myself that this is going to be a lifelong condition as there is no cure.  So I take it day by day and when the pain gets really bad, I have to try and remove my mind from my pain by meditating, deep breathing and such.  Sometimes I talk to my boyfriend about it, but I know that people get sick of hearing it because there is nothing they can do to make it better.  There are times when I've had to go and "hide"
in my bedroom and just cry because of the pain.  Then I pull myself together and get on with the the business of living.  I don't know if this really pertains to this forum discussion, but I do sometimes have an emotional breakdown as previously stated.  Then I just have to get myself together.  Put on a smile and remember, there are other people out in the world that have it a lot worse then I do.  Thanks for listening.

I have learned that in situations to must talk with someone who doesn't know you or your personally back ground.  If you don't then those who know what your going through will just say yea and ok and agree with your every word and won't actually give you the advice you need in order to get through what is happening.  I have turned here because I have so much to say and you all give great feedback I am not being put down in any way I was given something to read and it gave me a lot to think about and maybe you should do the same turn to the people who don't know you at all and see if that helps.
