You can't debate and discuss faith in God with someone who refuses to have an open mind within that discussion.
Conversely, you can't discuss and debate such "faith in g-d" with someone blinded by that faith and thus, has closed their mind to the rationality of reasoning. If someone is unable or unwilling to present evidence to support their religiously-based claims, they are the ones forestalling discussion/debate in that regard.
I don't care to "argue" religion, politics, social issues, etc., but am interested in a good debate/discussion about them. Both sides have to be willing to discuss ideas, questions, challenges (not facetious), etc., but this is one area, that honestly, you cannot do and will not do.
False. I have repeatedly requested substantiating evidence for various faith-based claims made by religious adherents and these have been repeated dodged by those religious adherents. Discussion does not consist of merely making empty religious declarations and having other religious adherents post knee-jerk agreement to their own blind faith. Instead, challenges and dissenting viewpoints often characterize such contentious subjects as religion and politics.
There's no need going on and on with someone who refuses to listen and talk, and instead, is intolerant and has to use words such as "irrational, delusional, hypocritical, liar, etc." and post quotes/pictures of ridicule and mockery. Those are not rules for debate and you should know this, unless you haven't studied debates, took debate classes, participated in actual school/college/local debates, etc.
At first, (and even more recently), several attempts were made to elicit rational debate/logical rebuttals however, irrational faith-based circular illogic was received in lieu of such debate/discussion. Apparently, it is you and others of your religious ilk who remains unaware of even the informal structure of debate, burden of proof obligation, logical syllogisms, deduction, inference and other elements of logical debate. I'm only informally aware of the elements of illogical "debate", (since that's largely a misnomer), to which you cling.
