Drew Peterson finally convicted!!

Oh it's a happy day!!  Drew Peterson, that cocky, arrogant, pompous ex-cop who was married 4 times has finally been convicted of killing one of his wives.  His third wife who he says drowned in the tub.  I'm so glad he was finally found guilty of something since his 4th wife went missing and he swears he had nothing to do with it.  Yeah right!  He was a cop, he knows how to play it cool and make it look like it wasn't him.  I'm so happy to see this A-hole get his due.

yes, unfortunately that's true.  But at least now he'll be behind bars and can't hurt anyone again.  Let's pray they find her.

I hope there will finally be some justice for the other women and their families as well.  Such a crazy world we live in when people of authority who we should be able to trust are criminals now too.  It's a shame what the world is coming too.

Guys like him are the reason why some women are terrified to get married and remain single all their lives. I have a friend who was abused by her ex-husband and never married again. She is such a wonderful lady, I think any guy would be happy with her but after him she is scared to death of trusting anyone. (man) It's a shame I wonder what happened to the other three wives.

Yeah, being as multiple people have disappeared around him I'd say he's probably killed at least one of them.  Never the less it is pretty scary they can convict people on circumstantial evidence now.  I'd rather see him go free than have the justice system be able to start locking people up for stuff based on feelings.  What happens when an innocent person pisses the wrong person off in the future?

How many men name Peterson had killed their wife? I know there was one that killed his pregnant wife and unborn child name Scott Peterson some years ago. I swear there was one after that case and before this latest one, but I could be mistaken.

The defense says they will appeal the verdict.  I doubt he will win the appeal.  I wonder if or when charges will be brought against Drew Peterson for the murder of his fourth wife.  What do you think?

I don't agree with someone being convicted of a crime based on hearsay.  To me, that is only the beginning of a very slippery slope.

I heard they were going to appeal, but I too doubt he will win.  It's hard to say if charges will be brought against him for the fourth wife.  She has not been found and like you said it's all hearsay.  I agree that convicting someone on that basis can be tricky and also opens the door for a lot of innocent people being convicted.  Unless they find her body, I don't think charges should be sought. I feel for the family, though.  The not-knowing must be excruciating.
