Three Pastors
« on: September 04, 2012, 02:50:44 pm »
Three pastors in the south were having lunch in a diner.
One said, "You know, since summer started I’ve been having trouble with bats in my loft and attic at church. I’ve tried everything----noise, spray, cats----nothing seems to scare them away. "
Another said, "Yes, me too. I’ve got hundreds living in my belfry and in the attic. I’ve been had the place fumigated, and they still won’t go away. "
The third said,"I baptized all mine, and made them members of the church...haven’t seen one back since!"

This just goes to show that religious propagandists have 'bats in their belfry'.

Three pastors in the south were having lunch in a diner.

One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Makingmoni i don't care much for church jokes, but this one was so funny, and you know what it was real at the same time, because i notice if you want to get rid of a person start talking about the word or ask them to come to church or take them to church with you and you are guaranteed to not see them anymore lol, when someone is talking about all that worldly mess, change the subject and start talk about God and the word and next thing i know they ready to go, they have this and that to do, but long as i am listening to their drama i can't say i am tired, sleepy or nothing else they still there, so to get rid of a pest, talk about the lord, the word or ask them to come to church or bring them to church with you, you have solved that problem lol, that was absolutely hilarious. :)

That's because religious propagandizing is about as annoying in person as it is online.

when someone is talking about all that worldly mess, change the subject and start talk about God and the word and next thing i know they ready to go, they have this and that to do, but long as i am listening to their drama i can't say i am tired, sleepy or nothing else they still there, so to get rid of a pest, talk about the lord, the word or ask them to come to church or bring them to church with you

How would you get rid of a "pest" who keeps proselytizing religious nonsense then?  Start talking about how it's irrationally based upon "faith"/the lack of evidence or, for those steeped in superstition?
