Reset Daily offers at Midnight?
« on: September 03, 2012, 05:26:37 pm »
It is really inconvenient trying to complete daily offers on a regular basis when you have to wait for a specific time of day.  I do most of my offers in the morning, but it keeps moving up later and later until I have to go to work.  I miss out on some and have to wait till the next day.  If they reset at midnight we could complete them all in one sitting.

thats what makes it challenging...you need to get yourself on a schedule where you are doing things around the same times everyday....i know it sounds hard but if you can get organized....you can make some extra cash on Fusion Cash.

Doing them at the same time every day is still going to see them move up in time day by day until you are eventually doing them in the middle of the night trying not to miss a day.

How is the 24 hour timeframe 'moving up' on completed offers?
"Sorry, but it hasn't yet been 24 hours since you were last credited for MyThoughtCounts.
The last credit occurred at: Monday, Sep 3rd 1:20am PDT
Right now, it is: Monday, Sep 3rd 9:09pm PDT
Please wait an additional: 4hrs 11mins 10sec"

Doing them at the same time every day is still going to see them move up in time day by day until you are eventually doing them in the middle of the night trying not to miss a day.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I try to avoid any 24 hour offers because it just never works well.  I made an exception with the CheapFlights but keep having to skip a day because life gets in the way.  Oh well, it's only a dime so it has to fit my schedule rather than the other way around.  It's not the first thing I've quit doing and it won't be the last.

Usually I tend to do no offers on Sunday except the e-mail and PTC so the offers like cheapflights and the surveys never seem to give me any trouble with the 24 hour thing.  Sunday is relax with the family day so I usually skip fusioncash.

I'm going to repeat the question falcon9 asks.....
How do you people figure the offers are "moving up later and later" or that they "move up in time from day to day"??

They reset to be available 24 hours from completing the offer (the time when you are credited for it may possibly be considered as the time that you completed an offer).
So, they may not be available exactly from the time you DO THEM, but I think that the completion time of an offer may very likely include the time it takes to be credited.

How come it won't play?

You can't start an offer until 24hrs after you completed the last one.  You lose anywhere from 5m to half an hour depending on length to completion.  Then you lose whatever amount of time you wait for it to reload as you aren't likely clicking it every minute to see if it reloads.  It is a killer trying to complete surveys in a specific time of day.

The solution is to wait a little longer than 24 hours to put the completion time into a range which is convenient for a member to complete an offer.  Resetting all 24 hour offers at midnight would result in some members completing offers in less than a 24 hour period, (e.g., offer completed at 11:59 PM could be completed again at 12:01 AM - two minutes later, not 24 hours later).

I have this problem with Cheapflights. It takes a half hour to credit,so the time of day I can do the offer gets moved down every day, until eventually,I'll either have to skip a day or stay up to all hours to get it done. :angry7:

With the clock reseting at midnight, you still couldn't complete more than one per day.  The time you do it shouldn't matter as long as it is only once.

The offers which list as available for completion once every 24 hours don't specify which 24 hours, only that it's once every 24 hours.  This is counted from the last time an offer was completed.  Resetting at midnight would render the next attempt at less than 24 hours.  That's the way the providers who pay FC have it set.  Participation is, as always, voluntary.

If the clock is out of FCs control then it is a moot point.  If not we should change it.

The clock starts ticking when a 24-hour offer is completed.  This is not under FC's control.

Since I live in Hawaii, I do all my offers at 9PM which is 12AM PT.  Works well for me.
