If you click on an ad that asks for a credit card, read the fine print. If after so many days you WILL BE charged the montly fees, or sometimes annual renewal all at one time, racking up credit card fees and so on. Sign up for the free trial, but keep in mind that you must cancel and actually print out the page where it defines how to cancel, and cancel. No worries, no loss, no problem. 

Has anyone had issues with this in the past? It happened to me one time where I forgot to cancel the free trial and it took forever to cancel, had to call, email and send letter for request.

Hey there, the thing with free trials is that usually they will post a pending charge to your card to make sure that the credit card is real. Then usually when you cancel at the end of the trial, they disappear and yo're not actually charged anything. It always depends on the offer and make sure to read everything before submitting any kind of information especially when it comes to your credit card.

This is why I don't do the offers for required CC only the ones w/o.  The fine print will get you every time.  Those free trials are not worth the hassle and frustration of trying to cancel.
