I plan on celebrating Easter by spending the day with friends over at Busch Gardens. :)

I've been preparing for Easter all week! Cleaning house, planning the menu, getting groceries, putting together Easter baskets, making decorations, etc.  We go to Church in the morning on Easter Sunday and then all of my family will come to our house for an Easter egg hunt and huge dinner. I LOVE Easter and getting to spend time with my family, but mostly I love the MEANING of Easter. After looking at what everyone else is doing, I'm afraid the actual meaning has been removed from the holiday! I am the first person to post anything about church and that's pretty sad! Don't get me wrong, I respect people's opinions and beliefs, but Easter did not originate from a bunny!!! If you don't believe in Jesus/God, I don't see how you would feel right celebrating a holiday like this or Christmas. Just my opinion, and I"m not trying to start any arguments. I promise!  Happy Easter to everyone!!

:bunny: first we will have my 3 year old daughter get her baskets, next eat lunch at my mom and dads house, then go to the cemetary to my grandparents graves, next to my living grandparents house. should be a good day, my little girls easter outfit is so cute, between the dress, hat and gloves, she looks like shes heading to the kentucky derby, lol

...unless the person in question is a hedonist.

We take all of the little ones - all eight of my cousins under the age of ten yeesh! - to the big egg drop. I've always thought that was really cool. They drop these plastic eggs from a helicopter and some of them contain candy or money or some other small prize. We decorate eggs rather extravegantly and make ham. My grandparents usually make duck. We exchange presents which are usually clothing for the upcoming spring.

Go to church, like every sunday, just this sunday is a little bit more special. Then maybe just go out to dinner, I am not cooking! Too much work.
