Makeup is not just used to "hide" a woman's true beauty. For most of us, makeup is used to enhance our best features. For me, I use a touch of under eyeliner and a thin line of silver eyeshadow to play up my multi-colored eyes. But the BEST answer to the question of makeup is "whenever that woman feels like wearing makeup."

I agree. Also, in my case, I am a 30 year old woman whose hormones went crazy after her first baby and ended up with acne issues due to it. I have used makeup to cover this issue and bring back my "natural" looking face. It's not an "ugly vs. pretty" thing in my case. Even when I didn't have this, I used makeup because, like the lady before me said, it enhances the great things about my face. My cheek bones, my lips, my eyes.....I'm a female and I love showing it. Just a little blush, mascara/eye liner, and subtle lip gloss to add shine always makes me feel so confident and happy with myself!
