This is why people get divorced over stupid stuff so much. First of all, men are visual creatures and unless they are super religious-they will look at *bleep* in some shape or form. Secondly, if the stash was there BEFORE you were, why not let him make that decision. The stash doesn't belong to you jointly, they belong to him and him only!!! If he is not horribly addicted, then let him keep it! It's no reflection on you~Its just freakin' *bleep* man!!!

Idon't know why a married adult of any sex, male or female, would want to keep a pornographic collection lying around.  With all of the avenues on the internet there is really no need to keep tangible collections any longer.  Worrying about someone overcoming your stash night and day could drive one crazy.  By going on-line nobody knows your kinks and quirks...or at least not those close to you.  Pornography is an outlet for fantasys that you can't indulge with smeone that you love and respect...just don't get too carried away!

I'm surprised that anyone would still have a collection. All of that is readily available on the internet.

I don't think I would marry a man who kept a huge stash of "adult films" around. I'm not saying I'd dump him if he ever watched any, but if he's dumb enough to buy it on DVD and keep it around the house, he's clearly not a winner!

I would like to know how long did they date before they got married. It seems strange that she didn't know about something like that.
If she is just finding out about that, what will she find out about next and have him throw it out. She should have let her feelings be
known and let him decide what to do about it instead of demanding that he throw them out. Now who knows what he will keep from her
or where he will go to watch those types of movies since he can't watch them at home.

I think she should have left it alone and let him keep it. It was his stuff, and she had no right to ask him to throw it out. If she can't accept it, or can't enjoy it with him, then maybe she isn't the right one for him, anyway.

Of course he should keep it. There is a lot of fun to be had when watching together. Besides what about when you (the female) says "not tonight dear I have a headache" Should he stifle his urges, go out a fool around or use something stimulating to take care of himself. As a female I love those particular movies and it is fun to imitate.
Never give up!!!

At the beginning of our relationship I made a big deal about it but honestly I would be a hypocrite because I enjoy a film myself every now and then so what's the difference?  THERE IS NONE, WHO CARES, IT'S JUST A MOVIE!!!  For those of you who are okay with it, here's something to spice up your s** life, try to act out what's going on on screen

It can only help you.   Nothing is wrong with a little *bleep*. It may be best that you hide it for your eyes only, if your spouse do not like it.

I think it depends on the couple. Should a man throw out his p o r n  collection on principle? No. But if it really bothers her, then he should. He should (hopefully) be getting his sexual needs met with his wife, anyway.

I think men should be satisfied with their wives. There should be no reason for him to want to look at other women if he's getting enough at home. Men have to realize that entering the married life means what he used to do is either limited or halted at the alter. No exceptions. That's why men hesitate to make that leap because his priorities chage.

all these responses sadden me.  Porno is ruining our marriages, our families, and our nation.

Is this the same for women?
