It is sad.  I wish him the best with the outcome.  Lance Armstrong will overcome this plight in his life.

I don't feel sorry for him. I lost a lot of respect for him when he dumped his ex after she stuck by him during his time with cancer. Whether her cheated or not I cannot say, but having so many others found guilty of doping isn't very encouraging for the sport.

Yeah, apparently they have some evidence from frozen samples that tested positive.  There's no real way for the public to know if those samples are really his and really tested positive unless they release the data along with DNA to correlate with the tests.  I'm kind of weary on just taking peoples words at face value anymore.  For all I know it could be some lab-tech who's trying to position himself to get a book deal down the road.  Plus the USADA was created in 2000 AFTER the samples were frozen.  So, I'm curious to know how they got their hands on them in the first place?  Seems like there's holes on both sides of this story.   There is evidence to point to the possibility that he used some type of PED though.

I don't think it's fair to completely to strip him of all his past trophies and accolades.  Punish him for the one thing they alleged he did.  Somebody really hated him to go back in the past to do that to him.

Honestly I think this is ancient history and both Lance and the rest of the world should move onto the next big cleanup.
