WOW... Lance Armstrong dropped his fight against drug charges that threatened his legacy as one of the greatest cyclists of all time.

From what I have seen, he is not even going to fight the ruling!

He has been fighting but there comes a time when the expense does not provide a return on your investment. To me his biggest win was overcoming cancer.

I do feel for the guy, he's been through so much with the cancer and also the fighting of these drug charges.  It's sad that the titles will be taken away from him.  He's fought so hard.

It's sad,we don't really know if he really took enhancing drugs or not. only he knows.

Even though he won't have the titles, he still accomplished what he did, and he will always be remembered. I think that it is very sick that people always take down people like that, usually on fake charges, just because they get to be too famous or something.

Don't do steroids and you won't get stripped of your titles.... Isn't testicular cancer attributed to steroids use? Hmmm

I feel sorry for him. I don't think he did anything wrong. I probably would get tired of fighting charges too after so long.

I think it is wrong to take his titles! He worked through so many issues. To me it sounds like his team mate could be JEALOUS! Do they have proof he took the drugs other than one person seeing him take them? Don't they give drug test before each race??? I can't blame him for stopping the fight. It isn't admitting he did anything wrong, sometimes you have to decide what is important!

He is a steroid abuser.  I think he probably got testicular cancer as a result of abusing steroids.  Hmm the one thing that made him a "hero" was a result of his cheating.  What a guy to look up to!

He may have been a great cyclist and won a lot of medals. but when he got cancer and cheryle Crowe stood by him it was great. but when she got cance he dropped her like a hot potatoe. He lost my respect. I would not respect any man or woman that did that.

Seems to me proving you are innocent and keeping your name clear would be pretty important. And if he WERE falsely accused wouldn't fighting it be unselfish so that this couldn't happen to someone else?

I agree! This way he can still claim he didn't do anything wrong, he was just tired of fighting it. I don't think he's as stand up a guy as everyone likes to believe. Either way, life all worked out for him pretty good. If he did win because of steroids, it really doesn't matter. He became famous, made a ton of money, dated celebs, and he's still rich even if he doesn't have the titles.
