Coupons
« on: August 23, 2012, 11:42:41 am »
I went grocery shopping this last week and after my hard work and clipping every coupons in the paper and online...I only spent 135 dollars...If it weren't for my coupons I would have spent 476.52.. Having five kids and getting this kind of deal I couldn't beat that..  My advice is to clip clip and clip even more they really do work.

I do a lot of coupons and have received a lot of things free or for pennies, especially using double but never as much as you have saved.  Our stores will only double up to 50 cents and limit of 10 per order.  Wish the rules were different but grateful for any savings.

I live with my daughter and we coupon! It is GREAT! We have a hall closet and kitchen cabinet that is full of items that were FREE  Coupons go hand in hand with comparative shopping. This is an essential part of our shopping. Love saving and getting money back when NO money went out of pocket.

I can never find coupons which match items I normally buy,
I'm not going to buy something just because I found a coupon for it

I too try to use coupons, but I live in a small town with only 2 grocery stores to pick from, 1 of which being Walmart and neither one of the stores will do double coupons.  So I'm only able to save a little, but it's better than nothing.   I also try to use coupons for things that are already on sale and the coupon is almost ready to expire.  There are many couponing websites online to pick up tricks and tips from.   :peace:

I like to use coupons, but none of the stores double coupons in my area.  I probably average $5-$7 savings on my weekly groceries.  I just wish there were more items that were healthy that offered coupons, then I could use more of them.

I like to use coupons also, there is a lot that i buy that don't have coupons, but hey a penny saved is a penny earned now  a days. Our rinkie dink store is over priced anyway and if i have a coupon i darn sure use it.

one good deal last week that was at walgreens,rite-aid and cvs they had the gillette fusion and womens olay fusion for 9.99 so there was a cpn for 4.00 in the paper off both razors and when you bought them they gave you a 4.00 award to use on your next trip for anything .so the razors were only 1.99 plus tax good deal

Yes, I use coupons and love them but some of the retail sales and coupon sponsors are stepping up the game by make those who use a lot of coupons to really plan out their purchases. Because, now most coupons require you to buy more than 1 item and sometimes three or four. So if an item you are planning on buying isn't on sale it want benefit you much. Some stores are even limiting how many coupons you can use. The copons that are 3 & 4 dollars really come in handy especially on razors and body wash.

I hardly find any coupons for items that I buy, so I dont look for coupons. When I read that people buy a lot of items for a negligent amount of money, I find it really hard to believe it.
