Samsung videos. Does this happen to anyone else with them?
« on: August 09, 2012, 10:40:41 am »
I have seen two versions of the Samsung videos? A Samsung video and a samsung galaxy note video. At first these two videos would credit a maximum of 5 times each no matter how many times I played them and even if they stayed up after the fifth time of being played. They would sometimes disappear after the 5th time of being played as well, but not always. Then I noticed  they would reappear at later times and not credit at all when I tried to play them again although a few times they did credit if they appeared many hours later.

Then recently they credited 3 times a piece and today credited 4 times a piece no matter how many times played. A few times they didn't credit at all. I have also heard of them not crediting at all for other people so I was thankful they credited for me as many times as they did.

Has anyone else experienced this situation with the Samsung videos? Or is it just me? Feel free to chime in...

I've experienced something similar, after watching them 5 times each, they keep reappearing but they will not credit. Also, if you've done the videos in some other website like this one, some of them only allow you 5 views per household per day, so they will not credit here. Some others will credit somewhere else plus here. I've also noticed, that it might have like a 24 hr cap or something similar, I'm able to do them 5 times every time, but around the same time of the day, if I do them earlier sometimes they don't credit. And lastly, if the videos page refreshes automatically after I close the video window, they reappear, but if I actually hit the refresh button of the browser, the whole video page refreshes and they disappear. They might appear later on, but if you hit the browser's refresh button, they will disappear again. After awhile, they eventually disappear.

Same happening here. Glad they are crediting though. I just check my account and stop watching when the credits stop.

For me it seems like it is really hit and miss with them. Sometimes they will credit, other times they will not credit. I just accept however it happens and move on.
Yes, I'd love to have a penny for every time that I've watched them, but I don't want to be a greedy person.

Yes, it seems to be five credits each per day. It would be helpful if they could then disappear from the list once the full credit is awarded.

It's the same with some of the others, they keep appearing and disappearing. It seems FC have been working on the video list for the last few weeks and haven't quite mastered it yet.

I used to be able to watch both about 5 times each. Tonight I only got one credit for the first Samsung.  The second time I tried I got the following message: Sorry, that promotion is no longer active.
The other video, I got the "Sorry" message immediately.

I also skipped down to the next video right after my first watch which might be why I only got the one shot on the first video.

Yes, that has happened to me. I just watch until it stops giving me credit.

I am just now working through a batch of videos at 3:47 am EST and tried the Samsung's between others and got a message in the box that says this is no longer active. I don't know if that means it has run out for the day or is actually just really not available. If there is something not working about it, Admin and the tech people generally will work it out and bring something back , and if they can't then we just won't see it any more. It did stay on the list though and did not remove when I closed the video window, that too seemed to be a problem. I like several others would keep watching them as long as they credited or until they did not move to the second step and then would stop and move on to something else, but lately we have had a lot of opportunity with the videos. Thanks Admin/ Kohler...
