NO! If you want an open marriage, then don't get married... why would you want an open marriage if you were married???  :BangHead:

Not my thing, but to each their own.
I have known two couples that have tried this and it ended as I guess most if not all do.

No  I do not. Why marry if you still want to sleep around, just stay single.

Only if I can do it and he can't!!! ;D... But seriously what a stupid concept! Just stay single and screw around your whole life.

I know a couple of men whose wives like girls, so they they bring them to home so their husband can enjoy them too! Well I guess that's one way to get the jump on a cheating husband, and still get yours, too.

What bugs me about these two, is that there are children involved. That is the sad part.

If a person wants to date a lot of people, then go for it. Agreeing to it in a marriage I would have to say absolutely not.

If you can't remain committed then you don't need to be in a relationship and especially not married. Is it really that hard to end one relationship before moving on to a new person?

I believe in half-open, half-closed.  In other words, open for me and closed for my wife :-)... just kidding of course.  She would KILL me!

"The first instance of polygamy/bigamy in the Bible was that of Lamech in Genesis 4:19: “Lamech married two women.” Several prominent men in the Old Testament were polygamists. Abraham, Jacob, David, Solomon, and others all had multiple wives."
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Trust is a major issue in any relationship. Marriage is meant to be a life of trust between two people. How can you trust someone who openly does not want to keep this trust?
