Ok, I like this place, obviously, and am getting pretty good at the routine.  But, there is just one thing I don't understand.  My question is -- can I not sign on from any other computer but my home computer?  If I am travelling to visit family for a few days, should I not log on from someone else's home computer?   I know that on a home network an husband and wife cannot maintain their own accounts.  I like the site, I am sorry, I just want to understand that techno side of it before I make a mistake I didn't mean to make.  I do have to visit family for a while and would like to know, please.  Thanks so much.   I don't know if it's relevant at all, but I usually come in through my Yahoo! mail on the DCE through Google Chrome.   Oh, and also, can you please tell me what you mean by "clearing your cookies"? Some of you have said that makes offers easier.

It states in the Terms of Service that you can access your account only on your home computer. I think this is because so they know someone isn't trying to hack your account or commit fraud using your account. I know what it is to miss out on 3 or 4 days of suveys and earning your money. I took a trip out of town back in June. I appreciate the security measure though. As far as clearing your cookies, it does make recieving your credit a lot easier. I had to learn that the hard way. I also access my account through the daily email, but always clear my cookies before logging in. I use Internet Explorer. I am not sure how to clear cookies on Google Chrome, but you can do a search online and find a fairly simple explanation on how to do it. Hope this works for you. Good luck.

The concern if anything when logging from another computer, especially in a location with a public shared connection is the chance another Fusioncash member might have logged in recently there. I have not had issues logging from my own computers as long as I'm using my own connection line (i.e. not recommended for free public wifis).

I think it is also so you don't have more than one account.

make sure you have cookies turned on in your internet tools, click to internet off of tools, click to privacy settings click to either default or medium then click apply and exit out, this should make sure your cookies are turned on. Also i use the library computers as well as our mobile internet so it works on all computers. don't  have to use same one all the time, just check internet options and be sure you are signed in.

You can use other computers so long as you don't think there is a chance that another FusionCash member has used the same IP (highly unlikely when you travel). I used Holiday Inn's WiFi to login to FC with no problems a couple years ago. Just don't do it in another country. ;)

A while back, Old Buddy had posted about a free utility called TeamViewer - which is a free remote server tool.  If computer A is your computer, and computer B is your relative's computer; this utility will let you use computer B to log onto computer A and control computer A (open browsers, read email, etc).  I use it whenever I travel - I just leave my home computer turned on so I can log on to do my dailies.

I also got some of my siblings to install it and it was very useful in helping them fix some computer issues.

May need to be a little more tech savvy to figure out how to use it, but it's not that difficult - or get a friend who is tech savvy to explain it to you.  May be another option.
