Some people are flat crazy.  To say Chick-Fil-A discriminate is just flat ignorant.  There are respected because of their values and the clean professional way that their employees act.  It is crazy to call it discrimination to not hire someone who would hurt the companies image and go against the quality way that they operate.

I had every intention of eating lunch there that day, but the line was so long and I couldn't take that long of a lunch break from work.  I did stop in later to get a milkshake though.

Some people do not have much of an ability to reason and mistakenly characterize the religious discriminatory hiring/employment practices of chick-fil-a as 'nondiscriminatory' by calling rational dissent "crazy".  Such people reveal their own ignorance instead.

That semi-convoluted mess of non-reasoning is apologetic nonsense.  I don't 'respect' a company who only wants to hire xtians, (discriminatory hiring/employment practices), but will hypocritical serve pagans, satanists, atheists or sun-worshippers as long as they can pay.  The fact that they've been sued at least twelve times already for such discriminatory practices has nothing to do with their selling gay, unmarried chickens.

Like i said before and will continue to say, the chick-fil-a issue has nothing to co with saying black people should support gay rights. No one can make tht determination. Fighting for freedom and rights verses going against the bilbe, NO CONTEST. No matter what else is said this is my last comment on this because some people are disrespectful and appears a little racist. Thats my opinion and i'm done!

Racist???? HOW?  I am saying that you, a black person, should be sympathetic to a group of people being discriminated against. It isn't just you. In polls African Americans vote OVERWHELMINGLY against gay rights.  I think there is something about learning from history to prevent repeating it???

How can you equate 'not getting a special privilege' as being discriminated against?  Even though I don't have a problem with this special privilege being bestowed to additional groups beyond the ones that currently have it, it not being granted is not discrimination.  I cannot (legally) park in handicap parking spaces, so does that mean I am being discriminated against?

Falcon9 have you ever taken into consideration that the people doing the suing may be in the wrong. Just because people dont agree with you, doesnt mean they are wrong either.    :bs:

That's a false dichotomy; just because people disagree with me, it doesn't mean they're right.  As to the employment discrimination litigation; that's either decided by the courts or, settled out of court, (as chick-fil-a has done to avoid judgements against them).  How is suing a company which has discriminatory hiring and employment 'policies' "in the wrong"?

I will concede that what is happening to the Gay community these days in NOWHERE near the terrible, terrible plight that black people suffered for hundreds of year. Decent strawman with the handicapped spot.

I don't think that support/non-support has any business making it into the limelight. I am not a big chik fil a follower and if they chose to make a statement with regard to their position on any thing other than sub-par fast food they were using their position to influence others which I find offensive.  Just as I don't want politicians/religious people knocking on my door/ringing my telephone...I don't want to hear someone using their position to influence me.  I rarely go to Chik Fil A but will make it a point not to go to their franchise again.  I wish that all of the fast food restaurants would take a stance on something so that I could lose ome weight! LOL

We dont have one in our town or I would have gone out and supported them.  Wished we had one here,  but we have to drive 85 miles to find one.

Chic-Fil-A is entitled to their opinion just like everyone else!

They are however, not "entitled" to practice hiring/employment discrimination based upon some specious religious "opinions" if those violate secular laws.

As they say "opinions are like noses;  everybody has one/ and they all smell"

No, this implies that all "opinions" are created equally, which is manifestly untrue.  Some opinions are emotionally-based, some are based upon a random superstitious religious belief and others have an actual basis in fact/reasoning.

One of those sanctimonious chickenshacks is close enough to notice that their parkinglot is quiet as a graveyard, day and night.
Not much 'support' for their self-righteous prejudices there although some people had apparently dumped trash from other nearby fastfood restaurants in a show of non-support.  Huzzah.
