I tried to eat ther but the line was wrapped around the building where i live. The drive thru and the people standing in line. Everyone had the right to their opinion, beliefs, etc. Why do we as a society worry so much about what is said than to try to fix and work on the bigger issues in life.

R U KIDDING ME!!!!!!   I get a kick out of Black people that don't support gay rights.  Umm there were people lined up around the block to support segregation in the 50's. The fact that you don't have to sit in the back of the bus is because a small portion of the population had the courage to fight for YOUR rights. They already had their rights. They saw how your people were being treated unfairly and fought to change that.

Pay it forward.

Most of the newer Chick Fil A's are now franchises, so the head office does not have any say over who they hire.  I feel like the statement he made is his opinion and he has every right to say that.  Each of you has the right to go or not go to spend your money at their stores.  You each have the right to give your opinion or not give it.  We all have the right to think, that guys is nuts or not.

We don't have a Chick-Fil-A in our town but I was in another town on Saturday so my daughter and I ate there even though it didn't count.  I was showing support in my own little way for the man standing up for his beliefs.  Since we don't have one in our town, I did not know for years that they closed on Sunday so their employees can be free to worship.  I think thats great.

I love Chick-Fil-A but they are kind of expensive so I only eat there when I have a coupon.  I will continue to eat there.  It's not like they prevent gay people from eating there.  I'm sure there are gay people that work there.

I have seen less on hiring issues and more on gays should not be allowed to marry. I was stating my opinion on the latter issue. Which I have now done and will move on.

Good for you however, the context of this thread had more to do with a company having discriminatory fundamentalist xtian hiring/employment practices than to do with gays marrying at Chick-fil-A outlets.

No it doesn't.

Still laboring under that delusion where you mistakenly believe you get to redefine context, are you?  Well, at least it serves as a side dish to your other religious self-delusions, (which is why you support the religiously-based discriminatory employment practices of that 'full-of-chickenshit' xtian business).

The context of this thread had nothing to do with what you tried to make it into with your typical hijack.  As an American, I support the Constitution and freedom of religion.  You seem to support the suppression of our Constitutional rights.  All  you ever do is dip, dodge, duck, dive, and dance around the forums seeking to apply your persecution against those with religious beliefs and moral values.

So, Dance for us Clownboy!  Dance!

We don't have one in our town. But will still eat at one in the bigger cities if they have one. They usually have good food and it is quick when i am traveling.

I completely advocate marriage equality.  However, I full admit that I may eat at Chick-fil-a in the future if the mood strikes me.

However, if you went yesterday at least admit you went to show your disapproval of homosexuality and not your "support" of free speech.  Because in no way has the CEO of Chick-fil-a's first amendment rights been violated. he faces no legal repercussions for his words.

Falcon9 according to your own words you must be a bigot, fool and a slave. Be careful what you write.  :dontknow:

Which words?  The ones you misinterpret or, cannot accurately comprehend?

The context of this thread had nothing to do with what you tried to make it into ...

Of course not, fundie.
"The Cult of Chick-fil-A:

Chick-fil-A's corporate mission, as stated on a plaque at company headquarters (and by Cathy), is to "glorify God."
Chick-fil-A, the corporate parent, has been sued at least 12 times since 1988 on charges of employment discrimination, according to records in U.S. District Courts."

All  you ever do ... dance around the forums seeking to apply your persecution against those with religious beliefs and moral values.

How is objecting to religious proselytization "persecution" in your biased xtian twisted non-reasoned crusade to suppress opposition to such fundamentalism?

I've never eaten there.  I did not know about their views until recently and because of their views, I will NEVER give them one dime.

I have no problem with people that continue to eat there.  If they previously enjoyed the fine sandwiches and waffle fries from chick-fil-a and want to continue that, have at it as they are very good.

BUT... if you went today for the first time, or today to "make a point", the only point you made was that you are an absolute puppet.

I agree!
