Reflexology
« on: July 25, 2012, 02:40:47 pm »
I have been reading a book about reflexology. I have never had it done but I hear that it is really nice. I also heard that there is currently no licensing requirements for this. Does anyone do this for a living? I would love to learn as much as possible about it. And if you do this for a living, why did you choose this profession? What tips would you give me to become a great reflexologist? What tips would you give me about possibly start up my own business with reflexology?

I don't know about having a business, but I know that this has helped me in my own health. I'd ask a librarian for which books to read about this. You might also try Googling the term and see if there's advice online. Best of luck!

I'm certainly no expert but I believe reflexology is basically acupuncture without needles and since that works with animals, it must work with humans.  I'd like to think so anyway  :)  As far as doing it as a business, I don't know that you really need much advice.  Everyone has aches and pains and if you can fix them, you shouldn't have any trouble finding clients.  Start with family and work your way out.
