I admit, there is a lot of drama b/c of fb.....mostly I learned that if people want to post mean and personal things, it just shows me a lot about their character....we can't change anyone and if what they do/say bothers me, I just unsuscribe from them so they don't have to disturb me! I like all the positives about it!

Men are funny sometimes.   My husband don't want me on Facebook either.  Yet I have met some very nice people on there and play games as well.  He was not satisfied with me going to the Internet Cafe,  so he had the Internet installed in my home.  For a long time,  he called my computer my "boyfriend".  He don't say much now because he needs things done. >:

I happen to like Facebook.  I like the games and the sharing.  You can do a lot with it and still leave your personal life off from it.  It is each person's choice as what you post and each person's choice as to what you want to read. 

I can keep my personal life off of it and still have a lot of fun and let everyone know that I have not dropped off face of the Earth at times, I can be a bit of a hermit.  lol

I agree with jnedele: I like FB for the ease of staying in touch with family...some live within a few miles from me while others are in different states.  I like how I can like things here and there a make a couple cents through video's and such through different survey/ptc sites as well.  I can see how FB would cause problems for some couples though...trust, communication, trustworthiness and maturity are all required in a relationship...if that's not there than a relationship is doomed...whether one or both partake in FB activites.

My hubby and i are on one facebook and we never have a problem with it. Too me it is an open book. He knows most of my friends that are on and of course all of my family. He enjoys it. He does not have any family. Now i do have another facebook all my own but gave him the pass word so that if feels like he wants to go on it thats is fine, i use it just for business. He went on it once and thout it was boring. Mostly it is used for surveys that want on face book and or vides.  This way i can keep ours cleaned out.

I would NEVER use fb to 'vent' about people....it shows very bad character.  You'd hate it if they did it to you...I understand your frustration...

I was an idot and put stuff on FB that I know now wasn't a good idea- nothing relationship destroying, but too much personal info. Now, I mainly use it to say not so personal things and promote my businesses by letting everyone know what is on sale.

My dh doesn't have a FB account because too many people lose their jobs due to a misstep.

That's true, but the reverse is the same. She can monitor what he is doing, too. Of course, I'm sure she could secretly block him from seeing everything she posts by putting him down as an acquaintance.

Mine used to be the same way... and then when he became husband instead of fiance, i told him flat out, "im NOT going to lose my facebook for you!" lol i live 1200 miles from home and its my primary way to keep in touch with my family! He's come around and gotten over it. I've trained him well.

Way to go! I think it's a great way for me to keep in touch with my relatives and friends who moved away. It's easier than keeping track of ever-changing email and physical addresses.

My husband was the same, now he owns his own laptop and guess what? He is on facebook more then I am.

is he insecure? i dont like it when my mans phone goes off all the time. he checks it on the road and it drives me nuts coz it makes him unsafe.
