Yes.  There will always be something that is going to be the focus of these things.  It's the whole question "If you knew you only had 30 days to live, what would you do" sort of thing.  People don't want to miss out on the things they've always wanted to try.  Others always want to be prepared.  Either way, people are always going to be looking for the indicator that something is going to disrupt their daily plan so they can be ready for it.

YES I BELIEVE THAT THOSE RELIGIOUS NUT BAGS WHO THOUGHT OF THIS DATE IN THE FIRST PLACE  WILL EXPLAIN IT AWAY WHEN IT COMES AND GOES JUST LIKE THE LAST 5 TIMES OR SO THAT THEY HAVE BEEN WRONG..

If the world doesn't end, again, then  of course they will set a new date. I do believe in prophecies but i think this one should just be an eye-opener to changing ourselves and out world. If you read up on the Mayan and other prophecies, the world doesn't end, a new world will begin.

I sometimes like to wonder how many people gave up their life possessions during the last prediction and how many will do the same with the upcoming period. If and when the date passes I wonder what they will do or how they will feel. I kind of feel sorry for them.
