I'm staying cool by putting the thermostat on 75 degrees and not getting out of the house and I put up darken curtains and it keeps the room cool.

How I stay cool this summer, I stay at home under the air con during the peak hot hours. I put water in the freezer & wait until it's half frozen than I got my own frozen cup made of ice. Esp. when you get back into the hot car, I bought a battery operated fan w/water container so you can squirt cool water to your face when stuck in the hot car!

I'm not having much trouble staying cool in the Pacific Northwest - it has been pretty darn cold all summer!  We got a wam (high 70s/low 80s) day or two.  And then a week or two of weather in the 50s and no sun!  It has been downright cold some days. Weather is changing so rapidly in so many place - I find it really astounding!  Here's to everyone staying cool no matter where you are - and me...I'll keep working on staying warm!

When the heat index is like 110, nothing is better than to be by the pool with a strawberry margarita in my hand.  Otherwise, being in a house with the thermostat at 72 is the best.

I stay home with my ceiling Fans on.  All this heat is really draining.

Keeping out of the heat. I stay inside unless I absolutely have to go outside. If I have any outdoor things I need to do, I wait for the sun to go down a ways so it's not as hot or I get it done before the sun has come up above the horizon (that way there's light, but the sun isn't baking me yet).

I don't have to get out in the heat except to get in car and go to work and back in car and come home.  I work at Walmart and am so glad don't have to work in factory without any AC.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

Stayed indoors more - working on re-arranging my basement entertainment/exercise area, where it's cooler in the house.  Also been enjoying my new Yonanas machine - frozen soft serve fruit is the best!

We stay inside in the air conditioning as much as possible and go out early in the morning before all the heat builds up if we have things we have to do.

I do not open the curtains. I keep the air-conditioner on a low setting and drink a lot of cool drinks. If I need to shop I do it once the sun goes down. I'm in Pennsylvania so it has been very hot I am not complaining the winter was so mild, I'm just grinning and bearing it. :cat:
