Really new to this posting thing
« on: July 17, 2012, 06:46:29 am »
Hi everyone! I'm really new to this posting thing, I've been trying to figure out how to post on the form and not sure how to do it, or reply. If anyone can give me some pointers on how to do this I would appreciate it. Also, I'm new to Fusion Cash any advice will be helpful. Thank you.

Look for the reply button on the bottom right and click it.

Welcome jandrasy!  You look like you are doing just fine with your posting!  And you are doing the right thing by asking questions in the forum when you need help.  Once you have pressed the reply button, you will get a box where you can type in your post.  Just be sure it has a real contribution to the thread so that it will count on your 30 posts per month.  If you want to start a new topic, there is a blue button at the top right of the screen labeled "Start New Topic".  If you have any further specific questions about posting, just ask in this forum and someone will always be here to help you.

Posting will become much easier for you, the more you do it.

First, tho, it helps to review the Beginner's Guide (one of the 2 threads at the top of the Support section of the Forum).

Then look through the forum posts to find some that sound interesting and read through them for the sense of the question and the answers provided.  If  that generates some questions/answers, then reply to the thread with your question/answer.  Giving a "why" you're asking the question may help in getting a response that's useful -- not just to you, but anyone who reads the thread.

The next trick is to follow your questions and see if any answers were provided.

I've found the easiest way to locate a thread that has moved off the first page, is to check my list of posts, find the one I'm following and just click on it.  (You can find a list of your posts by going to your forum profile and look for "posts"  I also go to the page* that you use to submit the Forum Posting Bonus and click on the link "View all your posts" on the right side of that page.

*You can find that page by clicking on the "been paid to post" link at the top of any forum page and then clicking on the green link in the middle of that page.

You should also visit your profile (link in menu) and set your notifications to get an email if a discussion you are involved in gets another comment. Don't worry, in the email is a link so you can turn one off if it gets out of hand.

Another great tip!  I didn't know that but it would be incredibly helpful.  Thanks!

I just wanted to let you know that you are asking great questions!  I couldn't figure out the whole posting thing for some reason at first either.  Don't feel like you're the only one!  All of us newbies have the same issues.  If you haven't yet, try replying to my (or anyone else's) response to you just as a test.  Good luck!
