If i do not get qualified for a survey, it usually keeps directing me to try to qualify for another and i have recieve a penny for just taken a survey.

If I don't qualify for the initial I usually just put no take me back to sender (or something in that sort). Sometimes if I have time I'll go for one my round of qualifying questions but I find they are usually things I've already answered then I still get denied

I always do all the daily surveys until I can qualify or am stopped by the site. It's worth it to go as far as you can everyday!
