People need to learn to keep their mouths closed

So many people think they are entitled to run their mouth, and run people down, and think they are better then people, it is sick. Has everyone forgot the old saying if you aint got nothing nice to say, then don't say nothing?

I remember and I do wish people would abid by that.

Those type of people can't affect you!! You've got to put them in a category "Ignorant". I really don't give out much information about myself and am very critical of other people, until I know them. I don't give alot of information out about myself!!

I have encountered people like that in my life. I have no feelings for those people. The best thing to do with people like that is just let them talk. I basically ignore people like that.

I understand where you are coming from on that one. People start gossiping and do not even know if what they are gossiping about is the truth. I am really fed up with people like that. Well the ones in my life that claims to be my friends or family.

I learned that rule too (If you don't have something good to say, don't say anything at all.) and I try to practice it.  Sometimes, however, people take my silence as an agreement with them when I'm really just biting my tongue.     Sigh.
