Thats true...its not what it used to be!  I remember the old Myspace and how great it was and as soon as they changed a lot of the features.  The number of users dropped like flies!  People deleting their accounts and there are numerous accounts that have not been updated in two years or longer.

I know a number of people who got fired from their jobs because of what they posted on facebook... its kinda dangerous what some people put on their facebook without realizing who all reads it.

Facebook is full of jokers, who have no idea, what to say to a person face to face. It's like talking about someone behind their back.  If u got something to say about a person say it to their face.

I feel the same I have people as a Facebook friend and when they see me face to face they can't even say hi. There are times where I think about dropping Facebook but I can't do it lol. I try and stay away from any drama and I don't try to talk about work in a bad light besides saying I don't want to go in.

I love the fact that I can see pictures from family members that live far away but as with anything people who have bad intentions try to ruin a good thing.

Deactivating my Facebook was one of the best decisions I've made this summer.

Deactivating my Facebook was one of the best decisions I've made this summer.
I've thought about deactivating my facebook many times, but then some of my actual friends (not facebook "friends" that I barely know) will post pictures of a trip or event that I really want to see so i stay on.  I've noticed that most people use it as a way to say every little detail of their life and others use it to get attention.  one of my "friends" posted this on their wall "Why do I bother?"  that's it.  She's always writing things like that so that everyone on there will ask her what's wrong and tell her how worthwhile she is.  It drives me crazy!!

To each his own. I am on facebook and don't have any issues with it. I get to talk to family and friends who I don't get to see often. Hasn't ruined any of my relationships.

What quietpal said.  I've never had an issue with FB - it all depends on how seriously you take it, what you post, and what you choose to take to heart.

I think Facebook is what you make it. I like it very much but there are things I just don't do. I do not post pictures. I do not give my personal information. I use it to interact with businesses that have goods or services my family needs and I enjoy the communication that's it!

I like to post important  health issues to new and older friends.
I play Farmville and enjoy it.
I keep in touch with relatives I don't see anymore.
I have found a number of friends from the past.
I like making new friends.
If something offends me, I delete the post.
If someone's profile causes a virus on my FB, I delete the person and it eventually clears up. [ that only happened once]
