What is Icings?  What kind of job is it?  All you can do is be yourself and remember that everyone else is probably just as nervous.  A group interview sounds less nerve-wracking than a private interview.  At least you can hear what everyone else is saying and how dumb they sound.   :D

I think I prefer 1 on 1. Because then i'm not distracted by the other people.
I just say what i need to say. Thank you :) This is my first group interview.

Here is some information I found for ICING's. The links referred to have been removed. You can google the headline and find the same article

I really hope it works out for you. The last 2 group interviews I went on turned out to be nothing more than an MLM scam. I declined a third interview.

All the best,

Great questions phx. It is always good to have a list of questions for employer. It shows that you care and took the time to do your homework. All the interviews I have been on.... I always looked at the company's history and goals. Glassdoor is also a good site to get interview questions you may be asked by specific company.

I've had several group interviews.  It can be a little less nerve racking especially if you don't have to go first like someone else said you get a chance to listen to how other people respond first.  You have to find a way to stand out in a positive way.  Also they are watching you in how you interact with the other interviewees so be friendly and talk to the other interviewees since this is a retail position you are expected to greet customers and engage them and sale to them so they are looking for people who will be friendly and more outgoing than introverted.

Icings is like a Claires They sell jewelry, bags, accessories, do ear piercing.  It's geared towards the tween and teen market mainly.

My husband had to setup a group interviewing system to keep up with the demand he has for the rapidly expanding company. He created a questionnaire along with a spread sheet to allow for a point system that would produce a final score for each applicant. That way he would know which of the group would warrant a one on one interview thus saving allot of time for himself as well as his peers.
