are you a smoker

i am and i am getting sick of all the stuff against smokers yes i no it is not anything i should do but i feel they should concentrate on drinking more then smoking duis are out of this world but yet they promote drinking everyday why is that so great

no i smoked for a short time when i was younger but my husband at that time my boyfriend made me quit.

I was a light smoker (about a pack every 3 to 7 days) for about 35 years. And sometimes I would go a week or 2 without any. More of a "social smoker". A few years ago suddenly I was struggling to breathe and husband had to rush me to the E.R. I ended up spending 3 days there and was told by doctor I have COPD and smoking would not help it at all. Since leaving hospital I've smoked maybe 3-4 cigarettes (stress can get to you). There's nothing good that comes out of smoking...but I do understand why people do it. It would be nice to be able to smoke with no consequences.

And, now the price of a pack of cigarettes used to buy you the whole carton.

I am a smoker, I do agree they should worry more about alchohol and drugs, however i am not proud of being a smoker and i sure do not want my kids to pick it up!! I am trying to quit but it is not easy!!!

I quit about 50 year a go.
