I ran away from home when I was 17... ran away b/c my dad was getting remarried and she would have put me out anyways or made me so miserable I wouldnt have wanted to be there. Well, I went to another state and met my husband the first day. He was homeless at the time working in a mission. He had a lot of family problems. Well, I am proud to say that God brought us together and we have been married for almost 7 years now!!! We have 2 beautiful children and now we just work hard to make sure our children never have to go through what we went through!!! We have a nice home and car and good jobs. God is GREAT!
....What a touching story, thank you for sharing it with us, it sounds as though you and your husband were just destined to meet and meant to be, you guys will prosper and go far in life because you realize that the true VALUE of a relationship is what yours has been built upon.  I wish you many many years of happiness. .

:BangHead: if it wasn't for my boyfriend drawing umemployment we would have been homeless a year ago.  The economy is bad and we here everyday about massive foreclosures.  I wish it was still the nineties, too.  I could only imagine how many children won't have their own beds to sleep in.  SAD!!!!

My mom kicked me out after I graduated high school because I was in a less than desirable situation for an 18 year old... though her kicking me out just made it worse. I spent several nights sleeping outside of a police station.

Skip this poster if you don't want to see cuteness-overload baby pictures and massive braggage!

:( I am not surprised some kids are homeless because some adults are too. It is a worldwide problem. Poverty, overpopulation, not enough resources to sustain the overpopulation, natural disasters and violence are the most common reasons people are homeless in many countries. How we solve this problem is up to us.
Try to help them any way you can.

A couple of months before going to rehab I spent alot of my nights sleeping behind the huge trash cans at the mall. Its sad what drugs will cause someone to do. (THAT WAS MY CASE, not every homeless person is on drugs)
