Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. My 7 year old son finds them and picks them up all the time.

I wouldn't stop to pick up a penny, but I would click on  FC survey because I'm guaranteed a penny (it will be all that I make on that click. lol)

I spend an hour a day on point to clicks for pennies...I would certainly stop to pick up a penny.  I'll even stop to pick up an aluminum can which is the equivalent of a penny and taks extra work(squashing it and taking it to the recycling yard).  I have heard that it costs Bill Gates (Microsoft inventor) a thousand dollars to take time out of his schedule to bend over and pick up a oe hundred dollar bill.  I wonder if he does it.  I also wonder if it brings him good luck if Benjamin Franklin's face is facing up?  I cherish every cent I can get!

I didn't pick up pennies until I saw a guy on the news who paid his last mortgage payment with pennies. If that's not an inspiration! Now I'm starting to pay attention to pennies on the ground!

I pick up pennies and I do not spend change.  I started that about 15 years ago.  If you go to the store to buy something and it is 3.50, give the $4 and get the change.  Don't give 50 cents.  Keep it all, then deposit it into a savings account.  It was the only savings I was earning and I couldn't believe how fast it added up!  You will not miss the 50 cents at the moment, but you will enjoy the outcome of never spending (and always picking up!) change!

I always pick up pennies.  Look at what we do on here for a penny.   So having to just bend over to pick one up is a no brainer!    LOL

I always do. Like other people here have said, we click on here all the time just for a penny or two, why not get a penny from the ground? Usually I show it to one of my kids and they pick it up and keep it. If I'm by myself, I put it in my jar and save it. I am a waitress and all the change I make, I put in a jar. I keep all of my change I make and never spend it. When times get rough, I take it out and use it. I started collecting in Jan this year and had almost $300 by June. I used it to help with the down payment on my truck. Last year I started collecting in Sept. and had $250 and used it to help with Christmas presents. Pennies do add up!

;D Yes, I pick up pennies all the time. I put them in a big popcorn can along with all my nickels for for my granddaughters college fund. She's three years old and I started saving for her a week after she was born. At last count it was up to about $250.00.
