I might not have before but I would now.  Fusion has made me respect the penny a whole lot more.   ;D

If it was heads, definitely. I'll usually pocket it and toss it into the fountain on my way home.

If I see a penny on the ground I pick it up.  I save all my change at the end of the day and put it in a can.  When I have enough I roll it and take it to the bank when I have enough.  One year I saved enough change for a vacation to Fla.  It adds up in a years time and then you have a lot of money.  I took $45 worth of pennys to the bank to pay for my lock box there.  May God Bless each of you and keep you safe.

I do pick up pennies whenever I see them.  However, we have people walking the streets every day, so I don't really have much of a chance.  I don't like to see them left so people walk on them as they say "In God We Trust".

"find a penny, pick it up, through the day you'll have good luck" this was a phrase in a TV sitcom. does anyone remember which show it came from. I do and I didn't look it up!
if you know the answer post it. if you had to look it up tell us. there is no shame in looking things up, just shows how resourcefull you are.
Good Luck!!

My daughter bought me a change bank that keeps track of the money I put in. It is full of the pennies I pick up. I have almost 100.00 since Christmas.

If you are using Fusion Cash - you ARE picking up pennies.
This program provides a simple way of collecting online pennies.... I love it.
And YES, I pick up the tangible kind, as well.

Yes, Yes!  I would stop to pick up a penny.  Sometimes it is hard because of my nails. :)  But I try anyway.

...The other day I was following a guy out of a grocery store and he dropped all of the pennies he had on the ground.  Made me wonder if he was trying to help the needy or maybe he just did not like carrying some much change.
...What do you think?  I have a friend who thinks it is lucky to find a penny, heads up.
...Peace be with you.  :) Della
i would keep it unless the person who dropped it was there & then i would give it back 2 them not 2 meny people would do that

I always stop and pick them up, and if they are tails, I flip them over and step on them and pick them up. money is money.

well I had to look it up, google says grey's anatomy, but I've heard that saying as long as I can remember(thirty odd years) so I'd say they just stole it from popular sayings.

For good luck of course, not to mention a penny saved is a penny earned.
