I must say this is most interesting.  Carry on, please - I would like to see more of this "Calling Christians Irrational" debate and discuss topic.

More precisely, it's correctly identifying any unsupported xtian proclamation as an irrational premise.  The xtian spouting such may or may not be generally irrational otherwise.  This distinction between argument & the one arguing may seem subtle but, it really isn't.

Also, haters gonna hate.

Not all non-christians are haters. Not all who debate religions are haters. Why do you assume one is filled with hate when they don't believe in what you do?

I don't quite get it, they make some claim about some magical being, some supernatural force for which no proof exists, and they give a challenge that we have to prove it's not true.  I have no burden to prove any of a multitude of idiotic claims are untrue, the claimant has all the burden of proof.

Additionally, what's all this idiocy I'm reading about atheism being a religion?  An absence of belief is not a belief.  I don't believe in Mickey Mouse, so now I'm a member of the Mickey Mouse denial religion, and, further, it's my obligation to prove to the idiot Mickey Mouse believers that the spiritual Mickey Mouse doesn't exist.  Some of you have truly turned logic on its head.

All I've got to say is...well spoken!

Your inability to accurately discern ... anything, let alone "trolls", (without looking in your own mirror), casts doubt on anything to huck up.

Although it's more likely that 'siggy' was sarcastically-using JJ's knee-jerk response against him, why do you assume that hatred is involved when another doesn't believe in what you do?

The lack of respect to other posters when they are Christians; intolerance of their beliefs, however, they don't come down on you for your disbeliefs (at least some don't, including myself; but I know there are some who do;) the "tone" of your words towards the posters filled with the loathing of Christianity.

No one has to believe like anyone else, but the disrespect is just plain overboard ridiculous and mean-spirited.  The thing is, is you know it and you appear to delight in it, and what it all comes down to, is that you just like all of the attention from the agitation you continually do.  You may not admit it, but we know exactly what it is and why you're doing it.  You love it and devour the attention.  When that's known, it makes it easier to play along with you, and give you the attention you so seem to crave, lol.

Right, I've never really hated them, that emotion never really entered my mind.  Of course, I strongly disagree with many of their opinions, as is my right, and I pity them for their confusions.  They perceive that as hatred, probably because I ridicule their god, the holiest of holies to them, but not to me.  To me their god is a ridiculous illusion, and thus I am a "sinner" and a hater of their "truth."

Previously they used torture and I'm sure many of them miss that method of conversion when I hear how they talk about those of us who don't believe, now when you don't agree you're a "hater," just generally evil.  Those who judge others evil, haters, in this way break the teachings of their own religion.  Wasn't it written that only god can judge?  Call me a "hater" and you become a sinner, according to your own doctrine.  As usual, you guys are very fine examples of the contradictions of your own religion.

The lack of respect to other posters when they are Christians ... the "tone" ... the disrespect ...

All of that is simply your biased perception and continued attempts to censor dissenting viewpoints, not by refuting them but, by trying to suppress them according to your repressive religiously-based unbalanced opinion which disregards the total lack of "respect" for views which disagree with your religious fundamentalism.

... you just like all of the attention from the agitation you continually do.

As usual, your 'perceptions' are inaccurate; I've repeatedly recommended use of the ignore function to you and others.  This is not something one would do if they didn't want to be ignored, (even using so-called 'reverse-psychology').  The "attention", (such as it is), of mind-blinded fundies is near the bottom of any list I could come up with.  Doubtless, there are worse things than numbing religious proselytization.

(They don't come down on you, some don't, but I don't, but I admit some do...)  Beautiful, superb example of the contradictions that your faith leads you to accept.  Next time you post, just save yourself the trouble of typing and say; "maybe."

I'd found their bumper sticker in a little shop off of Ocean Beach, CA: "Religion: Keeping It Vague For Millenia and Counting".

Actually, we are all sinners, including myself.  No one is perfect.  Also, it's your right and choice to disagree with Christians' opinions, thoughts, and beliefs.  I need no pity; I know what I believe and in whom I believe and there is no confusion on my end, so there again, there's no need for pity.  If you see my God as a "ridiculous illusion" that is your choice - no one is forcing you to accept Him.

You also cannot box ALL Christians and believers in one box.  There are many differences between different faiths and sects.  I don't know where you get that you are a "hater," just "generally evil," because I haven't said that and would not say it.  Jesus said we are to love everyone.  If I have a problem with someone, then I ask for God's help with that.  After all, it's not always the person that is hated - it's the behavior or attitude.  I don't hate anyone.  I may not like or care for what someone does and how they act, but no hate there.  I know some don't like me or what I stand for, and some may even hate me.  I'm sorry they feel that way, but there again, it's their choice.

Yes, only God can and will judge at the final judgement.  Until then, the society's laws, penalties, and judgements, are the judgements on earth.  You are right in that we should not judge each other.  I'm not judging you and haven't, so I'm not sure just who you are speaking to.  It is strange, you bring up asking doesn't God judge, yet you don't believe in God.  Since you don't, then I'm surprised you would even bring that up.  That's contradictory within your own thinking.  Once again, everyone is a sinner.  Everyone is responsible and accountable for what they do and do not do.  And once again, I don't know who's called you a "hater" but I have not and will not.

Oh just knock it off.  You do so enjoy it - you would be so bored in this forum if you didn't have Christians to pick on.  No one should HAVE to use the ignore button if they don't choose to.  There are a couple I actually do ignore and do not use the ignore button.  I have no interest whatsoever in speaking with certain ones for my own reasons.  Sometimes I ignore you but not with the ignore button.  I don't feel like being told I should or could use the ignore button when I already know it's there and what it's for.

You continually enjoy picking on some Christians, like newbies, and others who don't know what to say or how to react when you bully them.  Yes, that's what it is - bullying.  I was there once and totally remember what it's like.  I don't care what you believe - it's your choice.  I don't care if you approve of my belief in God - it's my choice.  No one is forcing you to accept God.  But when the disrespectful comments and disparaging remarks start toward them because of what they belief (when it's THEIR choice), that is what people don't like and don't have to tolerate, .  There's no call for that, especially since most in here are adults, with the exception of maybe a few older teens.  Adults need to act like adults, not schoolkid bullies.
