Name of your first grade teacher

Do you remeber the name of your first grade teacher?  Mine was Mrs. Mchaney.

Oh I remember mine...

Her name was Mrs. Carney, and I did not like her. At the risk of sounding like a whiny child, she was just mean. Sometimes, she sent one of us on an errand, and then go through are desks cause they were messy. We were first graders; cleanliness is not are strong suit. She was so underhanded about, it was really sickening.

My first teacher was Mrs. Capley.  I started to school in 1947 and we had a one room school.  We had 8 grades and one teacher.  In those days we heated with a wood burning stove and did not have a bath room.  We had an out house.  No air conditioner.  We had to pack our lunch.  In those days we did not know what they were.  We did have a school bus that picked us up.  We had a snack truck that would come around every few days and 25 cents would buy alot of candy.  I cried the first day my mother took me because I had never been away from her.  I was so scared but I got over it and enjoyed school very much.  We moved to SC when I was 10 years old and the school there had bathrooms and a lunch room.  Back then they had good meals with meat and vegs.  Now the school lunches are not that good.   Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and my God bless each of you and keep you safe.

My 1st grade teacher was Mrs. Warner. Her daughter was also in my class that i graduated in.

My first grade teacher was Mrs. Wright. I remember in first grade during recess and she wouldn't let me go to the bathroom one time and I ended up peeing myself and had to sit in wet shorts all day in the nurse's office until my mom was able to bring me clean clothes. Not so good times

i think my first grade teacher is named mrs. carter ...ms. zimmermen was my 2nd grade teacher which, i transferred to another school in the middle of the year.

Miss Reidenbach was my first and second grade teacher.  She was a mean old (to me at the time) lady.  Used the ruler on your hands for disobeying.  I got the ruler once for reading ahead in *bleep* and Jane.  Insisted on calling everyone by their "real" name and wouldn't believe me that my name was just "Kathy"  not Kathleen, Katherine, etc.  My middle name is Jo.  So she called and made everyone else call me Kathy Jo..... which was the name my parents used when I was in trouble.  Needless to say, 1st and 2nd grade weren't my favorites.

My first grade teacher's name was Mrs. Cavanaugh. She walked with a limp because one of her legs was shorter than the other. She had short fingernails, but she would pinch your hand or pull your ears if you acted up in her class.
