Just trying to help

I'm really getting annoyed of being yelled at for trying to help.

My dog had picked up a sock off the floor, and if we don't get it back, she will chew holes in it.  I'm walking to go get a drink when I hear my sister telling the dog to come here in her "you've done something wrong" voice.  The dog comes walking from the room where she is so I block the dog's way so she will have to go back.  The dog sits down, so I grab the sock and say drop, and she drops it.  Then my sister comes in and yells about how I should've let her handle it cause she was calling the dog in the first place.

It's just kinda frustrating.  I probably should've just told the dog to go to my sister, but it seemed kinda dumb not to take it since the dog came and gave it to me.

I guess you just need to find out what's more important to your sister - being in control or socks with no holes, LOL

That's just plain crazy. I hope she was just having a bad day and doesn't get upset every time you do something useful!
