Actually I tried the homescan thing too, but I didn't get credit for it.

Are there any homescan members in here.  I signed up back on March 4 but is wasn't available yet in my area. But I have gotten a couple of emails from them and they say they have Fedexed a scanner to me. I never got the $2.50 credit and am wondering if I will now. Also I wanted to see if I could get some feedback on the homescan program. Any other members out there?

Do I really need to download the software? I didn't recall seeing download instruction anywhere. What am i doing wrong? They did said I have to wait for the homescan to come which means I complete that right?

I downloaded it several days ago - it pops up every time I start my computer but I still haven't been credited.  I'll give it a couple of weeks - then remove it if it doesn't credit.  I don't mind having it - you are tracked even if you don't have it.  For those who don't know - almost everything you do is in some data base.  Go to one of the online search companies and look.  Someone called my ex - divorced 20 yrs and moved at least 6 times, both remarried, looking for me.

I downloaded it and it seems to be running ok. My browser crashes now and again, but I think it might have something to do with the latest release of Firefox. As far as privacy, I have gotten used to the idea of not having any. My brother and his kids have moved in, so I have pretty much forgotten what privacy is, besides if I didn't do what I normally do online, the readings wouldn't be very accurate.

I competed it, and downloaded the thing at the end, and it hasn't effected my PC at all so far. I agree, I think it is just tracking, and I don't really care if they want to know what I buy, cause I really don' buy much of anything online

i didn't get the credit as well. it sucks having to do so many offers and not getting the credit.

I just did it & it did credit for me. I didn't think about the software slowing down my computer though.

it took about 15 minutes to credit. i downloaded, went to check my email, there was mail from them (not a confirmation) but, it said to update my info with them. did that. then it said i had to reboot my computer for it to take effect. checked my programs in computers add/delete, it was there - came back to fusion and my credit was there!

Did the sign up, installed the program, sat there for a good 10 minutes, got the email as well.  Honestly never would have thought about having to update my information and restart had this not been in the forums.  Maybe 'Software install and computer restart' should be added to the requirements so that more people actually get it completed?
