Anyone up for a brain teaser?
« on: June 29, 2012, 05:34:34 pm »
After the promo the other day, I would like to know some more brain teasers. I love to try to figure them out. I can only think of a couple of them. If you know the answer post it. If there is no correct answer after a while, I will post the answer.

Here is the first one.

The butcher at the market is 35 years old. He is 6 ft 3 in tall. What does he weigh?

Any ideas?

Yeah, you're right.

Next one:

A cowboy rides into town on Friday. He stays there for 3 days. He returns home on Friday. How did he do it?

(If anyone has kids that watch the show ICarly, you will know this one. That's where I heard it. lol)

I would say that Friday is his horse's name.

Anyone else know any?

My daughter thought this one was amusing for some reason:

'A plane carrying both Canadian and American passengers crashes on the U.S./Canadian border.  In which country are the survivors buried?'
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

Is it a Canadian or American Airline?

It's an Air New Zealand flight.

Why are you trying to bury survivors?

You cannot bury survivors.

Then you would have to bury then "down under"  (New Zealand is close enough to Australia to make this joke)

You are the first to correctly discern the conundrum, Kohler.  There should be a bonus for admin/moderators - what would you suggest?
