The way we do a lot of things has changed when new technology came. We can watch old tv shows online and watch movies online. I find myself listening to internet radio more than the stereo system I have in my home.

Do you think Internet Radio will replace AM/FM Stations or do we need both technologies so we can feel we always have a choice?

I like Internet radio better (whether by that you mean just an audio-streaming site like Pandora or actual Internet radio like IHeartRadio.com which broadcasts traditional radio stations over the internet). Where i work, the radiowaves cannot penetrate the building so trying to listen to radio at work is almost impossible the traditional way, but I am able to easily listen on-line. Also sometimes if I'm driving and I get a lot of interference (bad weather, other stations, etc.) I may just tune in to the internet version using my cell phone. I think that listening in cars is still going to be the major obstacle for Internet radios overtaking traditional radio. I think most people listen to the radio while driving and the cars are built to be able to have the user easily operate the vehicle while listening. Since connecting to the internet is not free, it'd be more difficult to build in a lot of the stuff necessary to allow a person to access Internet radio, and would be difficult to operate while driving. So although I enjoy internet radio better, I think that traditional radio will still be here for a while.

I still like cd's and the radio! I don't dislike the internet radio. I'm just more picky about what I want to listen to! I think that the internet is changing the way we do a lot of things these day's!

In my location I prefer the internet radio because I have more choices.  There aren't many choices on the radio for me.

I personally like having Sirius radio......My receiver can go from the car to inside the house, plus I can get all of their channels thru the Sirius internet site.   Love it!!!!   Whatever mood you are in, just change to that channel and let it play.   Cant beat it!

I have been listening to an Internet radio station that has all my favorite oldies with few commercials. It has every genre and you can build your own playlist so that you can listen to exactly what you like!  It has the added bonus of giving you points for listening and when you get enough points, you can trade them in for gift cards or other rewards.  I can see how technology is changing our way of life, right before our very eyes.  And, yes, I suspect that somewhere down the road, traditional radio as we know it will be obsolete, just like books made of paper!!!

I equally like both. When I’m on the car, I like to turn on the car radio and tune in to Classical Music. When I’m online, I can also visit the website and listen to the radio live.
I think the regular radio station will still be around with the available convenience of internet radio.

I'm totally addicted to Pandora now. I like since it introduces you to new music much like the stuff you already like. It's like the perfect marketing strategy...

I don't use internet radio much because when on my computer I usually just use iTunes, I have an iPod classic so no chances there, I don't have a smartphone to use it for, and because it takes up bandwidth that I'm usually using to watch Youtube or to surf the web for cool news stories. If I had a smartphone I'm sure that'd definitely change, but until then I have to say that I use traditional more often.

Unless I am driving, otherwise, I will be listening to internet radio stations.
I can even hear something from home through internet radio.

I like internet radio because it's easier to find my preferred music - big band.  It's pretty much impossible to find on local radio stations.

I guess I've never listened to the radio on-line, but I prefer listening on the computer because it is only the music I want to listen to!

I think that the internet radio offers alot more choice in what we listen to without as many interruptions from commercial sponsors.  The talk shows are interesting on the ride to and from work and it is kind of interesting to hear people's opinions as well as weather and news but I would imagine it is just as easy to flick the channel to one of te stations tht offers this type of radio.  I think that the internet is also a little more open with content that you are allowed to listen to.  I always seem tohear the same song played twenty times on the radio.
